The Maine Children’s Alliance webinar on Paid Family and Medical Leave will offer an overview of the program, including eligibility requirements, the public plan application process, and the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers.

Starting in May 2026, workers who’ve earned enough in wages for work in Maine can take up to 12 weeks of paid leave for life’s most critical moments. This webinar is for employees and employers to learn more about Maine’s Paid Family Medical Leave Program before it goes live next month.

There will be a presentation from the Paid Family Medical Leave Team at the Maine Department of Labor. They will record this webinar and share the recording with registrants.
