PFML Webinar: What Employees Need to Know Before May 2026

The Maine Paid Leave Coalition will host an online educational opportunity for workers and caregivers who want to learn more about Maine’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Program (PFML). The webinar, set for 5:30 p.m., Monday, March 16 on Zoom, will feature presenters from the Maine Bureau of Paid Family and Medical Leave, including deputy director Reginald Parson and PFML claims administration division director Sarah Brydon, who will share more about PFML before benefits become available in May 2026.

This webinar is intended for workers and caregivers interested in learning more about PFML, and will provide an overview of the program, including eligibility requirements, the public plan application process, and the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers. The content will help workers better understand the program and how to access it after benefits become available in May 2026.
